Back Lane Allotments Association (BLAA) is run by a committee of plot holder volunteers. It was created to work with the Parish Council to represent the allotment holders, promote the interest of its members and the Back Lane Allotments as a whole.
Full responsibility has been given to the association to run the allotments and all original parish council tenancies have been transferred to the association. This means that ALL allotment holders who originally rented their plot(s) from the Parish Council fall under the control of the association.
The committee’s aim is to uphold rules and regulations and is solely responsible for the smooth running of the allotment site. This is confirmed by the Parish Council.
